The Minds Behind DROP
DROP founders, Shelley Lenz and Francine Sanchez bring decades of business, managerial, and wellness experience to this unique, well-thought-out, and much-needed health and wellness-minded business model.
Shelley Lenz graduated from the Eller College of Business at the University of Arizona. She climbed the latter of the hospitality industry from housekeeping to General Manager—to Partner. Her love for health and wellness led her to pursue teaching certifications in Pilates and Bootcamp. Teaching fueled her passion to develop a business that would encourage others to live a healthy lifestyle.
Francine Sanchez is a self-described wellness advocate and seeker of all things ‘detoxifying’. She graduated from the University of Nevada Las Vegas, leading to a position in hospitality as a Manager of Operations with MGM and then transitioned into pharmaceutical sales. When faced with a personal health challenge, her journey uncovered the need and love for infrared sauna therapy.
Both owners, being a part of, and recognizing the ever-growing wellness and retail market has been woefully underserved in the Las Vegas area, began their quest to fill that void. It was from their love for wellness, fashion, and functionality that DROP Sauna Studio + AthletiCouture was born.
